That young Mosaburo, had no idea that his name would consequently, be made famous throughout the world over 100 years later so, thanks to him we have probably all used, or at least borrowed, a Tool that was stamped by that famous Makita Brand.
Today in the 21st Century Makita has introduced us to some very Technologically Advanced Drills and we’ve seen incredible innovations, whether it’s the LXT Battery or the XPT Protection Technologies or even their Bluetooth Connected Tools they still are surprising everyone with drills like the Makita XRH08PTW 36V (2X18V) Cordless Rotary Hammer Drill which has great innovative features incorporated into it.
They have successfully introduced the the Makita XRH08PTW 18V Cordless Rotary Hammer and It’s powered by two 18V LXT Lithium-Ion batteries for maximum performance and along with their 18V LXT Lithium‑Ion Dual Port Rapid Optimum Charger (DC18RD) they have created a perfect match.
The Makita XRH08PTW is a cordless rotary hammer drill that is designed to provide high performance and versatility for professionals and DIY enthusiasts. It features an 18V lithium-ion battery that delivers efficient power and run time, making it suitable for heavy-duty tasks.

Makita 18V (36V) Cordless Rotary Hammer Best for?
This 18V XRH08PTW is suited to either a Professional Contractors, including Plumbers and HVAC installers that undertake whole boring for pipe and HVAC Installations as part of their scope of works.
Other Trades that this Hammer Drill would suit include mechanical/electrical/plumbing contractors, concrete contractors, road and bridge contractors.
Their Rotary Hammer Drill uses two 18V Lithium batteries just like the MAKITA XAD03PT 36V Cordless Angle Drill, that I posted in my recent Right Angle Drills Reviews so either Tool could be bought as just the Tool Skin and batteries adapted to either Tool.
Final Verdict – Is the Makita 18V (36V) Rotary Hammer really Worth the Money?
XRH08PTW 18V Hammer Drill is a well designed and engineered Rotary Hammer Drill that includes the Dust Extraction System in the XRH08PTW Complete kit, it has very obvious vibration technology built into it and so, it’s a Tool that is, worth the money especially to those trades that I mentioned previously.
Who wouldn’t want this Tool in their Collection of forever Tools

When I priced the Makita XRH08PTW 18V Rotary Hammer , in Feb 2023 it was around U.S$1032 (AUS$1525) which sits in the Higher end price range of available Rotary Hammer drills.
