That Bosch GSR 18V -150 C PROFESSIONAL Cordless Drill/Driver is an incredible example of just how far Bosch has evolved and this drill doesn’t disappoint with it’s advanced and very clever features, like the Electronic Angle Detection. It’s an exciting new technology, where you tell the drill what angle you want to drill those long screws into and at your chosen angle, as a Tradesman or Tradeswoman, we know, you can occasionally or mistakenly pop the head of a screw out of the material that your drilling into and we don’t ever want that, especially with a bench or near a pipe.
This Drill is probably the most advanced in technology that I have seen and that’s Bosch for you.
This drill really the type of new modern technology that I love to see in new modern Tools.

The Bosch GSR 18V -150 C PROFESSIONAL Drill/Driver has some real world’s firsts, like the BiTurbo Brushless Motor and the advanced technological feature which has more power is a lot stronger than anything else on the market, it’s up to 60% more efficient and has up to 65% longer running time and up to 50% quieter on the ears, which your jobsite customer will appreciate, especially if you do jobs in the private residential sector.
There is a really great feature, that I like and that’s the SwitchBack Control, which basically means that if you are drilling into a really hard material, using a Hole Saw and the powerful engine bites, then instead of the drill ripping out of your grip or worse braking your wrist it actually shuts off. There is also an Electronic Blow Regulation feature which is a internal fan that draws cool air into and across the motor and keeps the engine cool.
Electronic Angle Detection
The Electronic Angle Detection Feature is an exciting new technology that allows you to tell the drill what angle you want to drill either 90,60 or 45 degrees and using Bluetooth and your smart Phone, you can set the angle or pitch of the drill, by sitting the drill on the surface of whatever you are going to drill into and using the Bluetooth platform and the Bartool chip which screws into a compartment on the side of the handle and after activating it, you then set the drill at either 90,60 or 45 degrees and it sets the correct angle automatically and then you are ready to drill, and the drill will give you a yellow light at the back, that turns green when you find the pre-set angle that you selected, which will guide your screw in, at the correct angle and it’s all controlled using your smart phone, now that’s a leading Technology, if I ever saw it. That feature will also train you to drill at different angles in a level direction.
